Micron’s culture of giving spotlighted in 2020

With the unprecedented challenges of 2020, Dee Mooney, Micron Foundation Director, discusses how the Foundation accomplished the following:

• The Micron Foundation more than doubled giving, distributing nearly $24 million to charitable organizations worldwide, including $10 million to COVID-19 relief efforts.
• In 2020, over half of Micron team members participated in charitable giving representing a twofold growth in community engagement.
• We reached more than 600,000 students and educators with a focus on underresourced communities through our annual support of global STEM programs.

STEM education is critical to unlocking that world of possibilities. We support programs and partners that make that opportunity a reality for all, with an emphasis on underrepresented and underresourced student populations.
